The MSC is thrilled to announce that we unanimously selected a candidate to be our next Senior Minister!
Like all the other UU churches in search this year, we will make our official offer to this minister at noon on March 21st. If our first choice agrees to candidate with us, we will immediately begin working out a ministerial contract, get it signed by the minister and Standing Committee, and then make a public announcement where we will share more information.
If our first choice decides to candidate elsewhere, the MSC will then make an offer to a second equally skilled minister, also chosen unanimously.
You will get to meet our candidate during Candidating Week is April 28 – May 5th, when s/he preaches on both Sundays and meets during the week with as many parishioners and staff as time allows. Please set aside time that week to meet this minister. The week culminates in the all-congregation vote to call the minister on May 5, 2013 at 12:30 PM in the Sanctuary. The ministerial contract we sign is contingent on a favorable vote to call of better than 90%.
