Your Ministerial Search Committee continues to call references, review materials, and discuss our three PRE-CANDIDATES, as we determine which of these ministers we will present as OUR FINAL CANDIDATE. We are using both qualitative and quantitative measures in our deliberations. We are considering the strengths and weaknesses of each. We are measuring each minister against the Senior Minister job description. We are asking ourselves questions like who feels like our personal minister, who seems best able to lead the congregation as we are now, and who seems best able to lead us toward the future?

As with all UU searches, ONLY ONE candidate, the MSC’s FINAL choice, will visit First Parish during Candidating Week April 28 – May 5, 2013. During Candidating Week, you will hear this one final candidate for Senior Minister preach on two consecutive Sundays. And you will have multiple opportunities for personal interactions with our selected minister before the vote to call on May 5, 2013 at 12:30 PM. Please be sure to spend some time during this week getting to know our choice.
