Hi Folks

Can any of you help with the July 3 community forum on the cancellation of TaxiSavers?

We need volunteers beforehand to pick-up information sheets and food

And we need volunteers on Tuesday July 3 to help with

* set-up (11-12:30)

* staffing sign-in/nfo tables (12:30-4)

* greeting people (12-2)

* coordinating the food table (already made coffee & cookies) (11-4:30)

* taking detailed minutes so we have a record of people's concerns (1-4)

* taking mics to people who want to speak (1-4)

* general help (11:30-4:30)

If you're able to help, it will be really appreciated.

Please respond to taxisav...@smartt.com or (604) 608-0384, if you can help or know someone who can

Thanks

Jill

Please join us on Tuesday, July 3, from 1 to 4pm, to discuss the importance of TaxiSavers and why they should be re-instated.

TransLink Board Member Don Rose will be there, so this is a rare opportunity to voice your concerns and ask questions of the board.

This community forum is sponsored by the City of Vancouver Seniors Advisory Committee and the City of Vancouver Persons with Disabilities Advisory Committee.

We are hosting two community forums about TaxiSavers:

·  Tuesday, July 3, 1-4pm, Community Centre, 870 Denman

·  Thursday, July 12, 10am -1pm, Vancouver City Hall, 453 West 12

Please come to the community forums and please tell people about them.
