Wednesday night Spirit Circle, a special program: The Gifts We Bring

Friends, shalom, peace.

This week is my next-to-last as the chaplain of First United Church.  It has been an incomparably valuable experience to have entered the lives of the many souls associated with First United.  I am very grateful.  I will stay involved as I can in the future, God willing, but will not serve in the role of chaplain.

This week, at the Spirit Circle, we will chant, light candles, share prayer and more, as we usually are blessed to do.  In addition, we will explore the idea of gifts that we each are able to bring and offer to each other and to the sanctuary that we create together in community.  I’ll share several biblical passages about the gifts that we each offer and one of our members will lead us in exploring our own gifts.

I hope you’ll join us soon after 7 pm in the dining hall at First United.  Please consider bringing a light snack or beverage to share after we let go of the Spirit Circle at 8:30.  Also, please share this invitation with anyone you think might be interested.
