News for Christmas Worship Services

[News from First Presbyterian Church]

The Christmas Eve worship schedule includes a 7:00pm multi-
generational service and a 10:00pm candlelight communion service. For
the 7:00pm service, children are welcome to dress as participants in
the nativity scene. Christmas morning worship will be a 9:30am with a
liturgy full of carols and a Christmas story.


ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

THE CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING CAMPAIGN will be dedicated at the Christmas
Eve Services, December 24. This offering continues the tradition of
supporting equally: 1) the Board of Pensions, assisting those retired
church workers who have little or no pension, 2) Presbyterian racial
ethnic schools and colleges, funding scholarships to deserving
students. The Stewardship Committee and Session appreciate your
consideration of this special offering.

PLEDGE PAYMENTS: IRS regulations require that donors must deliver (or
mail & postmark) checks on or before December 31, 2011, in order to
claim a charitable contribution deduction for 2011. Please keep this
in mind as you make your pledge payments at the end of the year. 
Please clearly mark your checks “2011 pledge” or “2012 pledge” so
there is no confusion. Thank you!

CHURCH OFFICE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: The church office will be closed on
Monday, December 26 and Tuesday, December 27. We will re-open on
Wednesday morning at 8:00am.

PASTOR CRAIG will be leaving late Christmas morning for a trip to be
with family. He will return on Saturday and looks forward to worship
next Sunday.
