Sunday October 9, Rob Craig will be preaching. Also included in our
worship service will be meditations through movement, voice, visuals,
and prayers from members who spent time at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico
over the summer. Participants will share their thoughts and insights
through completing the phrase, “I give thanks to God for….”

Also included in the worship experience at FPC will be three Adult
Nurture classes. “Saving Jesus” will be held in the Crump Room,
“Planning for the Rest of Your Life” will take place in the Laws room
and a “brainstorming” class will be held in the Reeves room, in an
effort to establish an action plan in light of the former study,
“After the Fact: Reducing the Risk of Teen Suicide among Sexual
Minority Youth.”

Music at FPC opens this season with the renowned Estonian/Norwegian
organist, Ines Maidre at 3:00 p.m., Oct. 9.  She has won many
international awards and will play an hour-long program of varied
music.  Admission is free and a reception will follow the program.
