Adult Nurture at 11:00 will be led by Cal Brand. That experience is
titled “Expectations: Guide Posts to Nativity”. The class will
explore scripture and reflections on meditation practice focused on
living into our Advent expectations for hope, joy, love and peace.

MARKET FOR GOOD – an alternative Christmas market will be held on
Sunday during coffee hour.
PASTOR CRAIG IS AWAY FROM FRIDAY THE 9TH THROUGH MONDAY THE 12TH: He
and Sharon will be at a reunion at The New York Avenue Presbyterian
Church in downtown Washington, DC. He was Pastor there from 1990 to
1999.

NEWS ABOUT A STAFF CHANGE AT FIRST CHURCH: Upon the completion of a
mutually agreed upon six-month period of trial employment, Susan
Vannice has chosen to not pursue further employment with us. Susan
wrote, "Thank you for employing me these
past six months. My experience at FPC has been rewarding ....". We
thank Susan for her efforts and we wish her well. A search to fill
the vacant position of Church Secretary has begun. The following
advertisement is being distributed."Active downtown church seeks a
full-time secretary. Strong organizational and computer skills,
including website management, required. Send letter of interest and

Street, Columbus, IN 47201." The Personnel Committee's practice is to
