This is Epiphany Sunday when we celebrate the coming of the Magi to
see the Christ Child. We will be distributing stars with messages to
stimulate your sharing of God’s light to the
world. Please join us in the gymnasium after worship for visiting
and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

OPPORTUNITY FAIR, JANUARY 8: During the coffee time, and into the
11:00 hour, any groups or committees who would like to share
information are invited to set up and use all, or part, of a table in
the gym.  Feel free to bring materials to interpret your efforts with
other members.

INFORMATION SESSION ABOUT HEALTHY COMMUNITIES: Are you a creative
thinker? Are you concerned about helping Columbus residents to be
healthier and overcome obesity? Several members of our congregation
are members of the Healthy Communities Council and will be attending a
creative conversation about new projects on Monday evening, January 9,
from 5:30 – 7:00pm in Meeting Room 1 at the hospital. If you would
like to go along with Rob Craig, please let him know.

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE that Tisha Terry joins our staff as Church
Secretary on January 9. Tisha spent sixteen years as an administrator
for a non-profit association and, more recently, in a family-owned
business. You will discover that she will be proficient in
communicating with us and supporting our work with her technological
talents. Thank you for welcoming Tisha who will be joining Financial
Secretary Tammy Pace, in our office.

ADULT NURTURE: IMAGES OF GOD: Our church bulletin says, “…we strive
toward the use of inclusive language as it pertains to people and to
God.” Does that have anything to do with Images of God? Come and
explore Presbyterian history, Bible study and our psychological make
up. We hope to learn how important images are to us. Jo Lucas, Norie
Erickson, Ann Jones and Rob Craig will offer leadership for this
January adventure.
