Firebirds Family,

Thank you for a great season. It was a well fought out tournament and am happy with the

effort we have put it.  Winning the championship would have been the cherry on top but unfortunately, it was not meant to be.

I appreciate the time you guys have sacrificed for the team and the game. As your caption I take full responsibility for not bringing the cup back, there were many decisions in the field which could have increased our chances of winning. Definitely will strive to do better.

Although the games are over, doesn't mean we are done. We are planning a picnic very soon. Keep your eyes open for an email form Shadhin bhai regarding that.

First, Shafin you did your job well.  The captain can only lead the team to right strategy but it is ultimately the players who have to come out strong to survive a good fight.  There were other factors, think we all know what I am referring to, that turned the fate around against us!

With that said, tomorrow is free air show in Luke Air Force Base in Goodyear/Buckeye.  It is an experience of a life time if you have never seen one, especially if you have young children!  Blue Angels are doing aerial performance this year.  If you want to go, let me and we can all coordinate.  I am leaving at 7 am to get a closer parking, show starts at 9 am to 5 pm.  Just google for details on Luke air show.
