Murad Rana MRMC Update

Guys:

The Bangladeshi cricket league  (Murad Rana Memorial Cricket) will start in October this time,  probably 20th or 27th of October. So get ready!

• Four Teams: Firebirds, Bengals, Lions and new team Vikings (led by Sayeed)
  
• Games will be Saturday and Sunday 
• Vikings and Lions requested to have games on only Sundays (because they have players that work on Saturday), BTW   Firebirds and Bengals said they  prefer Saturday.
• The league with few blocked out days  in  mid December- early January  (finals, winter break/ people traveling, Victory day involvement with kids), so league    is going to February  no matter what (ACA conflict?)
• We have to mention our black-out days including to avoid  ACA  conflict
• This year we have Double League  between four teams in stead of triple league,  that means we will play  three opponent teams twice each. (we were playing two opponent  teams three times, remember? )
•  Dulal Bhai Suggested that  we do  IPL style for finals,  once we have played 6 games and we will  have  TeamA,B,C,D in the point table as first,second, third, fourth.

Then:

Game 1. TeamA and TeamB plays- winner goes to final (these two were best teams in the  point table)

Loser team still has hope

Game 2: TeamC and TeamD plays each other - the loser is eliminated, winner still has hope. 

Game 3. The loser between TeamA and TeamB  and the winner between TeamC and TeamD play and the winner  of that game plays final

Game4: Final

Sumon:  I say that you keep your post (ceremonial)  because it is  an executive committee post given to Firebirds- which has voting power. We may need it so we should not forfeit it.   If you need I can chip in.

We need to know the black out days that is the days when you can not play, we need to late Zain bhai know by  Saturday.

we need to let  Zain bhai know our blackout days between October 20th and  February end  by  Saturday. Just write down the days you think you can not play.

A good suggestion will be  - have the first 2 round and the team with highest point the Champion.
Then we have playoff as suggested and have a Playoff Champion.
