1.5 problems...

i have no vertical or horizontal scrollbars...

what the heck!?!?

and! in the address bar, there is this wierd button next to the
pulldown menu of previously viewed sites.

its about 75px wide and the same hieght of the address bar and on the
right side it has two colums of six black down arrows.

out of curiosity, i clicked it... it does nothing but depress...

?????

luckily i have a scroller on my mouse.... or i would be able to scroll
through this google group's posts!!! 8-O


i have tried uninstall > reinstall and it did nothing.... i unistalled
all my extensions.... again nothing....

1.5 works on my other comps... not here... what the heck?!?!

First, re-download Firefox 1.5 from Mozilla.org, and see if the problem
still exists beacause they are often updating Firefox. If it sill does
not work, then submit a bug report by going to bugzilla.mozilla.org .

might try using firefox in safe mode to reset the browser. Thats
worked for me when my firefox browser fliped-out.

I would let u use mine if i could remeber my password, I haven't
reported any bugs in firefox for months. Osrry i can't be of help, did
u try using firefox in safe mode???

I checked the Beg reports at Mozilla, and it looks like they are
already working on your issue. So nothing else to do except wait. If
you submit a bug report now it will just be marked as a duplicate of
the others. Sorry I cant help anymore.

i don't know how i did... i was jaking around with my themes... and i
fixed it!!

i got rid of all my extranius themes.
i tried some themes other than default and they all worked...

Safe mode always works. Because when you launch it in Safe mode, it
gives you the choice to remove all extensions and themes, and if you
would have done that, it should have worked. Theres also a clean up
app in the Mozilla Program folder(aka C:Programs Files\Mozilla
FireFox\) that should fix the problem. But glad your firefox is
working, I would never want someone to use IE.

i tried in safe mode but i got nothin.

i was never prompted to remove all extensions and themes.
