Welcome to Femmes Without Borders!

okay, I know it's been a few weeks since Queeruption in Vancouver, but
here it finally is, the FemmesWithoutBorders email group -- so femmes
continent-wide can share ideas, resources and just fun! This will work
best if we:
- introduce ourselves
- encourage our femme friends to join up
- and start talking about how we can promote femme visibility and
participation in our queer communities!

So let's start first with:
- who are you and where are you from?
- what Femme visibility groups or get-togethers have you participated
in?
- what do you see Femmes needing/to-do?

Here's mine:
I'm Kiki from Atlanta, formerly of San Francisco. I've had a tight
group of femme pals in San Francisco who were informally called the
Femme Mafia (the Lex bathroom wall!)... and now I have lots of friends
in the official Femme Mafia in Atlanta...

I love it that Femmes are uniting, not fighting, but I think it's time
we start looking around us and figuring out what we can do for our
communities ... besides being visible... that's the conversation I'm
really interested in!
