Temp home needed for Doxies

Hello,

I'm posting this on behalf of my friend Matt, who lives in Arlington. Matt was caring for his elderly mother who passed this spring, leaving behind two miniature dachshunds, Dudley and Ilsa.

Matt is caring for the dogs, but trying to settle his mother's estate, sell the home and find a new place to live all at once. As you know, finding an apartment with two dogs is not easy and he may need to move before he is able to find a new place. He is looking for a temporary home for the dogs until he can get settled. I would gladly do it, but live up several flights of steep stairs, which aren't dachshund-navigable.

Dudley is 10, male. Ilsa is 16, female. Both get along well with other dogs, are well-mannered and in good health. Like most doxies, they aren't exercise fiends and are happy to loaf about the house together. Both are house-broken, but because of her age, Ilsa needs to be let out regularly.
