Coastside Design Review Committee (CDRC) is an important part of the County process for approval of new development in Midcoast residential communities. There is an urgent need to fill this position.
The committee meets monthly, as needed, to review and make recommendations on residential development projects for compliance with the Midcoast Design Review Standards. Each community (Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Miramar) committee consists of a community rep who must reside in that community, and two licensed architects who may reside anywhere in San Mateo County.
CDRC meetings are held at 1:30PM the second Thursday of the month (as needed) in El Granada. Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Applicants for the Montara community representative vacancy must reside in Montara. If you know someone in Montara who is not on this list and might be interested, please let them know.
More info, including a “List of Desirable Traits for a CDRC member”, “Midcoast Residential Design Standards”, and how to apply: http://www.midcoastcommunitycouncil.org/get-involved/
Thank you!!
