Once had an idea for a sort of mixture of League of ExtraOrdinary Gentleman,
Highlander, Dracule/Blade/Van Helsing, and other like genres. I have a world
where SHerlock Holmes is alive, and some lower powered meta humans exist via
alien infected nanotech.

Aliens visited c.1800 and accidently left behind nanites that "infected"
some but ....

How far into Fantasy? Victorian age was a world in transit from the older
agrarian and then industrial and the modern age. Electrical/automotive.
Steampunk possible?

It may explain why persons from Golden Age of comics existed? Dracula to
Batman/Spiderman?

Twilight LEFT OUT.

Sometime around 1800, an alien craft or race, came to earth exploring and
cause of them, and the nanotech that they had, infested earth over time.

Causing things to change, namely to allow low end meta/super powers.

Vampires, Highlander, Fairies and more to exist and challenge each other.

One idea was Fairbanks Alaska c.1900 where the local detective has to deal
with not only the gold rush/western and rondevous, but also racial issues as
well as the rise of the super natural..

Fairbanks a good place for metabeings to find refuge and hiding..

Was thinking of Jonny Depp as the Detective/Marshal and the lead from
Machete as his Local Indian or Eskimo) helper, liaison?

Just looking down on Fairbanks, with the ice fog, moon in the sky, and
northern lights and smoke stacks of local power plants, said
Wolfman/Sherlock Holmes/Dracula to me..

The nanotech alows for many of the powers, but does not have to be for all?

Frozen Undead and more? Local spirits and like? Demons of Space and more?
After all the Aurora is up from Alaska, and the pull of space to earth,
grin. Caught in the down draft? Grasping here, sorry..

Mike
Alaska

Understand some, yes, too to sided? Maybe add elements of Blade or Buffy or
.

I like to think there is other Were creatures out there, and not just
Wolf/Bat.

Also, would Sonja baby have survived the sun, after all, it was 1/2 lycan?

So what elments if any would you like to add to not just underworld, but the
project someone else was working on? I just let others know about it?

League of Extraordinary Gentleman, and what characters of literature from
the 19th century might people like to add or what other influences if any?

3a. Sherlockian Roleplay?

Would there be any interest in a rpg based off of Sherlock Holmes? Could be
set in the present time (Sherlock, the BBC series) or traditional old school
classic.

Could even mix in elements of Dracula, Van helsing, Mummy et cetra.

Feel free to give thoughts/opinions please.

Sounds eerily familiar for some reason. The Dracula addition I mean..

I think old school victorian classic would be cooler, rather than set it for
the modern era. There are plenty of mystery/csi/holmes type rpgs set in this
timeframe already. Like the Drac/Helsing/Mummy idea too so long as no one
gets carried away and god mode's a character.
Just my two cents...

A problem that arises.. there can only be one Sherlock. Which makes
something like this more suited for 1 on 1 roleplay, I think. I mean, who
would the others play?

I think it would be alot of fun to play, i think peroid would be the best
and i love the idea of adding some super natural characters. I think it
would be alot of fun to see the mix of core characters and others. Count me
in!
