Sherlock Holmesd and More?

Be it Blade Runner, Underworld, or Sherlock Holmes (can be dark), but more
like dark and depressing, with all the failings and fears of humanity
explored.
From being used/taken over by aliens or disease/nanotech. To aliens, and
fear, and being forced to be not human, well not the human ideal, but to be
a base creature..
Example being to being forced to pray on other humans, eat them, and more?
All to survive, such is the idea of Dark World.
A world some centuries in the future, where global warming or maybe cool
down has happened, or just the exchaust and crap we put into the air has
blocked off the sun and all plant life has died off from lack of sun? And
all that depend on them dying off, or finding new ways to survive/what to
eat.
Humans turned to nanotech, broadcast power, and eating anything, most times
with out the person knowing the source. Solent Green/I am Legend being
ideas, where the dead are processed into little bars of protein, green and
origin not said, but found tobe recycled humans.
But some for reasons explored later, find it easier to just feed off other
humans, suck their blood and hijack their access to the power gride and
survive and even be more powerful.
Abrigon so far is a giant sphere, with life on the outside (change).
The inside is a sun (brown dwarf) that provides power.
The power is dispersed to "subscribers" via a broadcast power grid.
Subscribers are those who are "infected" with nanites that use the extra
power to allow the subscriber, to do feets of what would be called "Magic"
aka superhuman.
Limited by range of the grid, power allocation by the grids controller, the
central AI that controls things. Each city of the Gods, there is several,
that float above the planet and below, that use the power to be immortal,
perform magic and other things..
The Cities/dwellings try to convert all else to their "belief" and the
central AI keeps tabs, and allocates power based on said
convertion/membership. This keeps the "Gods" from whiping out all other
sentients, and helps keep them from waging open war with each other.
There is scenes on the planet of past open war and its not pretty.
The "Planet" is larger than a normal one and has several "Moons" which
collect any other power, as well as help with the grid broadcasting.
There has been some contact with outside space faring races but limited,
controlled or the contact was destroyed. The sphere has some wierd ways of
things, more coming.
There is at least one star gate on the sphere, if not more, and other means
to project one self into space and other planets/places..
As seen by CN-ELF and Dark World (new idea coming on line), the Shinda, the
builders have had exploration and more in the past. CN-ELF the nanites came
in, via an exploration and now the local humans are fighting a guerilla war
against a group of Shinda, origin so far unknown, but not likely from
Abrigon.
Dark World, still working on ideas, but green house gases have made it a
living hell, and now the sunlight is cut off,a nd things have gone dark,
their is still live and heat, but its all dark and dingy and nothing lives
but humans and they are busy eating each other or ... more coming on this.
Total horror or ..
More ideas coming, or comments? I know some changes but ...
Also looking for ideas on how to make Abrigon into basically a war zone so
that wargamers can war against each other? Anyone ever read "Hunters of the
Red Moon" may have some ideas of what I am talking about?
Also looking for place for my Knights of the Sundered Oak and like gaming
ideas.
A Security Company that has ties into cyber, armed, super, and systems, and
more.. Ties back to Nazi Germany or . got ideas, got to rewrite things..
Will see..
Strange how no one ever seems to talk about an employment agency for
super/meta powered beings, not all are heros or villians, some just need a
job?

Runner? Not likely but .. hum..

I still like my idea of a post-apoc world where the green house gases do
take hold and they block all visible light, but not all light, and things
get dark. Plants dies and ... grin.
