I have a world where SHerlock Holmes is alive, and some lower powered meta humans exist via alien infected nanotech.

Aliens visited c.1800 and accidently left behind nanites that "infected" some but ....

How far into Fantasy? Victorian age was a world in transit from the older agrarian and then industrial and the modern age. Electrical/automotive. Steampunk possible?
