League of ExtraOrdinary Gentles, has a Vampire member, as its founding
member.
Highlander - hidden, being watched, super natural.
Van Helsing has a group much like the one in League, which is much like the
one from James Bond of all things.
Blade has watchers and auxillaries.
Add Lycain, and not just wolf ones, but snake? Bear? and what else?
World is yes an alternate reality to our own. It broke off from ours some
100 years or so before current times, now is c.1870ad?
Fairies, and Gnomes and Elves and like do exist, but not the semi-cuties of
Harry Potter for sure.
Buffy? Yes, or no? Not seen enough of it to make comments?
Twilight for sure NOT..
Underworld for sure.
All the above and your own, can lead someone to create their own dark world,
masquerade.
Underworld based some what on Vampire after all..
Vampires based on part on Celtic Fairies, that Bram moved to Romania and
gave a local name of Dracula..

Ever read the book "Hunters of the Red Moon" of humans being abducted, then
"allowed" to try to escape, and those that "Escape" are sold to the hunters,
the hunters then set them up on a Moon, and then hunt them, and anyone
survives is given extra-ordinary things and prizes..
But the idea is to have one side the Vampires, another being the humans who
are watching them, or Lycain or another Vampire Coven or what?
Why is it a secret war? Or its kept hidden cause humanity almost wipd out
the Vampires in the past, or just from past over grazing/feeding in the
past, so now all the rituals in the hunt..
Real Human blood being a delicacy, few can taste, but most taste
"artificial" or ... Blood of ..
