Hello everyone:

We need volunteers on April 3rd, 2009 to help unload the truck and
sort clothing, and of course on April 4th, 2009 for the actual
event.

We need help with the following tasks.

Friday- April 3rd, 2009 4pm-9pm

Unloading the Truck 4pm
Help to unload bags of clothing from U-Haul. Usually, we have bins
to wheel clothing upstairs with, but there is some lifting involved in
this.

Sorting clothing 4:30pm-9pm
Help to sort clothing into different sizes/clothing types.



Saturday shifts:
9am-11am, 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm, 7pm-9pm

Saturday April 4th, 2009 9am-9pm

Set-up (9am-11am)
Set-up Tables/Chairs/ Dressing Room. Move/sort clothing that was not
moved on Friday to appropriate section. Fold clothing.

Door People (2 people per shift)
Take admission fee at door. Be generally welcoming and happy.

Personal Shoppers (2 or 3 per shift)
Help people locate clothing they are looking for. Work the floor.
Return clothing from dressing rooms to tables.

Table Minders (2-3 per table per shift)
Keep clothing neat, Rotate items from the back of the pile to the
front if necessary. Make tables look attractive.

Check Out (2 people per shift)
Man the check out table. Take money.

Break Down
Pack up unsold clothing. Straighten and clean up room.

helpful to us if you can work for two shifts. As always, volunteers
are admitted to the event free.
