BUYING A NEW RIFLE AND WHERE TO GET IT

I have purchased several rifles thru gunbroker. I've had pretty good
luck and think it's a good way to get what you want at a reasonable
price. You have to be careful though that your shipping and fees to
licensed gun dealer don't eat up savings. (You have to have rifle/gun
sent to licensed firearms delaer...I've usually used a local pawnshop
for a fee of $20).

I've also bought guns at "good" old walmart. My beef there is that
you likely will not receive any expertise from sales people. I.e.,
you'd better know what you want when you go in.

If you don't know much, do your research first and/or go somewhere w/
some expertise...local sporting goods store, BassPro, etc.
