Falmouth Road Race

The SBLI Falmouth Road Race committee has decided to
conduct registration for the 2005 race online. This year's race will be
held on Aug. 14.
Online registration will be open from 6 a.m. EDT, May 1
until 10 p.m. EDT on May 9. Anyone interested in applying for a race
number should visit the race web site, www.SBLIFalmouthRoadRace.com
during the above time period.
Everyone who registers by the May 9 deadline, except for
Falmouth taxpayers and year-round residents, will be entered into the
lottery, which will be held at the end of May.
Falmouth taxpayers and year-round residents are exempt from
the lottery if they enter by the deadline and follow the instructions
on the registration site. Multiple entries for the same person are not
permitted. All such entries will be rejected with no refunds.
All runners will be notified by e-mail after the lottery
whether or not they have been accepted. The entry fee will be $32.
If any Falmouth Track Club members are rejected in the
lottery, they should contact Russ Pelletier at rus...@aol.com by June
1. The race will reinstate non-Falmouth-resident club members who are
rejected in the lottery, but not people who miss the deadline of May 9.
Club members who are residents or taxpayers will automatically be
accepted if they register between May 1 and May 9 follow the online
instructions.
