WELCOME TEAM IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Hello Team,

We have 8 active members as of now.  Thank you so much for serving when we are lacking a full staff!

We tried merging with Connections, it didn't work out.  I have tried recruiting new people, but many people are already serving.  I am so thankful for all of you!

At this time, I think it makes more sense to have teams of 4 each Sunday.  I don't think that it's feasible to have everyone serve if they are in church, I sense that we are tired and need breaks.

For now, we won't schedule people and I will leave it up to you to fill out the Welcome Team Calendar.  We will use the honor system, try to serve every other weekend, twice a month.

Each week, I would like to assign a team captain, it will rotate, but team captains will be tasked with making sure that all the tasks are completed.

I would have loved a welcome team of 8 people serving every Sunday to really welcome our church members and visitors well, but I don't think that's feasible.  We are averaging 100 people or so each week, including teachers and parents, for more like 90 people, I don't think that we can have a team of 16!

The 4 people who are serving each Sunday, please make sure that you get a replacement if you can't make it.  if you can't then I will try to fill in, but for the most part, I would love to have people take their breaks.  If we do welcoming with 2 people, than it will have to do for that Sunday.

I would like to do a Welcome Team appreciation dinner to say thank you and to have fellowship.  If everyone can't make it, then we will go with the day that most people can meet.  Please fill out doodle!
