The Freelancer's Co-Op Just Went All Real and Got Its Custom URL! I Already Hate It

Mark it down in your calendars folks. FCCO just went big time. ....TheFreelancersCoop.com .... I know, I know!! 

Ya'll really shouldn't let me pick names alone. I'm seriously naming-impaired.....

I guess it's a little bit better in lowercase.... Not much .... 

Oh well, we'll just have to live with it and make sure someone else takes over naming duties from here on out. 

The ProfitableWriter.com Site 

At least ProfitableWriter.com ain't bad.... Not exactly relevant to the client, which I am just now realizing actually.... Wow, I am really, really bad at naming stuff. It's kind of irritating the crap out of me right now. 

Carrying on.....the ProfitableWriter domain is going into duty as a portfolio and service storefront catering to our clients. The homepage will be setup... with the client as the focus.... that's about all I know at this point...You all will probably almost definitely have your own profile and portfolio... There might be a way for clients to search through memberlists or we might all just be on one big page....

Look if you haven't realized by now, I'm not a big "planner" or "organizer". I'm more of a "just wing it" and "wonder what this does" type of guy.... 

It's just kind of how I roll, ya know? 

I am going to attempt to set up ProfitableWriter with as little paid help as possible. You're all welcome to lend a hand if you want. I have no eye for design, so that's one area that I am concerned about and may have to hire a. ...freelance designer.

Kicking Off a Kickstarter Campaign

Also, I am probably going to start a small Kickstarter Campaign for $500 or $1000. I have a feeling the FCCO site is going to get expensive. I'll update or post something when it's created so that you can share it on your social sites if you are willing. Don't feel the need to fund it yourself though. The money isn't vital, it would just be a back-up fund for a rainy day or unexpected expense. 

Back to the Business of Blogging

The original FWP site's new home is at Blog.ProfitableWriter.com and it will be a true blue blog once again. It'll begin covering topics of concern and interest to potential clients as well as continuing to inform writers.. Actually, if anyone would like to guest post, I'll add you as an Author and give you a byline for all your links. You can even link out of the content back to your sites or affiliate links as long as you open it in a new window. There's an option in the Post form.

We're on our way friends! Maybe even sooner than 6 months. Keep in mind that there is a need for members with design skills and contributors for the blog if anyone wants to write in exchange for an about author box with a pic and your links.
