I was looking for a way to respond and all I found was the reply to.  Hope this works.
 
I have been working as an internal consultant in Leadership and Organizational Development.  However, my back ground is pretty multi-faceted; I have been part of two management start up teams for automotive supplier organizations where I wore many hats examples include administrative assistant, materials management, procurement, production manager, and establishing the human resource function including recruiting and hiring employees.  My background also includes working as an Instructional Technologist and managing the training function for multiple companies. 
 
I am currently seeking employment and I thought perhaps if I can learn how to work at home, I won't have to be subject to another downsizing.  I am looking for ways to contribute to the group as well as opportunities to showcase my writing abilities.  I am a frustrated author at heart and I am working on articles for one of two books that I want to write.
I love cooking, making floral designs, teaching and mentoring others, and enjoying life.  And Sandy you are not boring and you sound like someone I would like to get to know.  The problem with writing about ourselves is that it is next to impossible to capture the essence of interesting people.

I'll get the ball rolling with my introduction.
 
I've been a freelance writer since 2008 and I started in the content mills.
I'm no longer working the mills and have several private clients. I'm also
interested in government contracting.
 
My background is HR so I currently write resumes for ClearPoint, SEO blogs
for small businesses, copywriting, web content, and I do some editing.
 
For fun, I'm a Master Gardener, I quilt, crochet, hike, and read a lot.
 
I've noticed that when I write these things down on paper, it sounds pretty
boring doesn't it?

Hi, everyone. I'm Debbie and I landed here entirely because of the awesome southern generosity of Mike. I stumbled across a post of his on LinkedIn. We then corresponded and he let me pick his brain about getting my blog started.
 
I am an insurance agent but have been writing for over 20 years. I've published a coupled of non-fiction magazine articles and have some published trade work. I also write short stories and have about half of a fiction suspense novel completed. I love to write, well, I must write and want to see how the freelance side of the business works. Mike seems to have some pretty good info here, so I am looking forward to being a part of this group.
