Tomorrow, First Parish Church of Stow & Acton will hold its 150th Harvest Fair! The fair starts bright and early at 9:30 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Live music begins at 10 a.m. with our popular Parish Jazz Band starting us off.
The fair will include children's games and crafts and, weather permitting, a bounce house.
A full lunch and snacks will be available, as well as all types of homemade baked goods and preserves. A large variety of CDs, books and retro jewelry will be for sale, and this year both gently used Halloween costumes and fresh produce will also be offered.
This will also be your last chance to buy one of FPC's 3 lb. apple pies. Pie sales will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. or until the last pie is sold, whichever comes first.
This year, FPC will have a special raffle prize: A set of 212 pine blocks hand made by FPC member Don Rising and enclosed in a pine box. Two other prizes will be offered: a queen size handmade quilt in a multi-color diamond pattern on cream background and a truckload of cut fire wood. Raffle tickets are $5 each and 5 tickets for $20.00. The drawing will be Saturday, October 12th at 1:30 pm. We will make 3 drawings. The first and second winner will get to select from the prizes.
We hope you can join us tomorrow at the fair!
