This is a notice to all government officials, permit clerks and inspectors. You do not know what construction cost is, PERIOD! Cost is arrived at! Cost is not known in advance. A good set of completely approved drawing is not enough information for costing or estimating without a scope of work and specifications detailing all finishes and fixtures. There is no such thing as price per foot for renovating cost. I have been paying for construction for 40 years. I don’t know what cost are tomorrow morning. Cost needs to be determined last after all specifics are known. You can take this to the bank!
