I noticed this morning that this group's emails haven't had a
distinctive group identifier in the subject line as most other groups
do. If I've tweaked the settings correctly, as of this email the
identifier [FLEx-teaching] should begin showing up in the subject
line.

This group is currently a private group, just because that's how I
initially set it up. But it seems to me that there's really no reason to
leave it this way. I'm considering making the following adjustments to
the group settings:

- Who can view group content? Change from "Only members" to "Anybody"
- Directory listing: Change from "Do not list this group" to "List in
the Google Groups Directory"
- Who can join? Change from "People can request an invitation" to
"Anyone can join"

Do any of you have experience or thoughts on whether some or all of
these adjustments would be a good idea? And on whether some should just
be left as they are?

Hi Allan,
I have no experience in these but have no objection.
