Building Strong Families Program - Summer Dates

Dear Franklin County Service Providers,
We are excited to share information about the Building Strong Families program and invite you to refer families who may benefit from participating. Building Strong Families is a comprehensive and dynamic program designed to empower individuals and families with the tools, resources, and support they need to cultivate strong, resilient, and harmonious family units. Grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to address the unique needs of diverse families, this program aims to strengthen the core foundations of family life. Engaging and interactive workshops covering a range of topics, including effective communication, stress management, and parenting skills.
PreventEd, in partnership with the Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and University of Missouri Extension, will be sponsoring client participation in this program on a first-come, first-served basis. To help reduce barriers to attendance, participating families will receive a $10 gift card per session, per family.
The Building Strong Families program is designed to support caregivers and families by strengthening communication, relationships, and protective factors. Full program details, including dates, times, and participation information, can be found on the attached flyer. Please notice there are two flyers in the one attachment - each flyer is for a different set of classes (mornings mid June through early July and late afternoons end of June through mid July).
