Please see the below message from a caregiver on my team and direct responses to her at   bobbi....@mercy.net she is copied for your reference.

Good morning. I am currently working with a patient that is insulin dependent, homeless, and living in his car. He typically stays around Union. He is currently trying to use a Styrofoam hospital cooler for his insulin which is not working well. Is there any way we may be able to get him a larger, better cooler? He also has no room for food storage in the cooler that he has now. I am open to any ideas that you may have, and any help is greatly appreciated.

To note: Danielle at the FCFRC is willing to allow him to use their staff fridge for his insulin but he would not have access in the evenings or weekends when the resource center is not staffed. Looking for someone who may be able to provide the patient with an acceptable nice cooler.

That was a quick response. United Way will help with the cooler.
