Hello,

I recently learned of this group and wanted to subscribe. But, for
awhile, I was having trouble with the Google Capcha. But, I finally
got it done and subscribed. I'm looking forward to messages from the
group.

I'm a member of a small church, which is comprised of an older
congrigation. For a few years, we've been allowing another, younger,
mostly African American congrigation to share our building. A year
ago, our pastor suddenly left, and the pastor of the other church took
over as interim pastor. A few months ago, both congrigations voted to
consolidate. Beginning in January, we will be one, new church. We're
all very happy about this and believe God will help us, in showing us
the direction for the church. But, we still need prayer. We want the
church to grow; we want strong Christian men and women to come join
with us to work to spread God's Word, and, above all, we don't want to
do anything that iwll not give honor and glory to God. So, I'd
appreciate your prayers for the New Life Christian Fellowship.

Thank you.

Cindy

Dear Cindy,

My name is James Kelm, and I am the Senior Pastor of the Foundational
Christian Family Ministry. I would like to sincerely welcome you to our
group, and I will certainly include you on our regular prayer list!

I live along with my lovely wife Kimberly, in the state of Minnesota.
Where are you from? Here in Minnesota we are preparing for the winter
season, and although it has been wonderfully pleasant so far, I don't expect
for it to remain as warm as it has been up to this point. Things are very
pretty however with the warmer weather, and the light and fluffy snow fall.

Again, I welcome you to our group. Our goal is to build sincere and
meaningful connections within the Christian body, while hopefully
establishing true and lasting friendships! I would encourage you to tell
some of your fellow church members about our group! We are relatively new,
and are excited about building this outreach into a nation wide fellowship!

We will be praying for both your congregation, as well as your
leadership! Please feel free to post whenever you have time.

Respectfully Yours in Christ,
Pastor James Kelm

Hello,

I'm from Central Pennsylvania. It's getting cold here, too. But, we don't
have the kind of bad winters you experience in Minnesota.

Thanks for putting us on the prayer list. We believe that God will lead and
bless us as we consolidate the churches. However, there are those, as you
might know, in the community who believe it won't be successful. But, they
also didn't think that an African American pastor could lead a primarily
Caucasian church. But, he has and continues to do so, quite successfully.

Dear Cindy,

I want to congratulate you and your fellow congregation members for not
falling to the same prejudices as general society so often express. What is
obviously of priority within the body of Christ, is that the true doctrine
of Christianity is being shared, and scripture is being presented. As long
as God is for us, who can be against us? Again, I congratulate you, your
congregation, and your pastor.

In considering your situation, the following scripture came to mind.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is
neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
Galatians 3:28

It is our privilege to keep you in our prayers, and I hope that you will
remember us as well.

Cindy, good evening. I would like you to know that I will stand in the gap with Pastor Kelm and Foundational Christian Family Ministry, in lifting up the needs of New Life Christian Fellowship in prayer. I am a prayer warrior and intercessor, and I pray that the Lord lifts and prospers the work of your hearts and your hands, and that your bounty would be beyond anything you have dreamt or anticipate. God is a GOOD God and he knows your hearts, willingness, and desire to serve His kingdom, and I pray that He would bring to you the laborers for this later day harvest (the growth you seek). God Bless you all. Blessings, always, in our Master's service. Christopher

Dear Cris & Tracey,

Thank you for your warm welcome to our new friend Cindy!  It is folks like you, who will make this fellowship a valuable tool for our Lord.

Also, it is nice to know that you folks didn't get lost in a snow bank there in Utah!  *smile*  I have been watching the news, and it would seem that you have gotten a bit of the white stuff.

Respectfully Yours in Christ,

Good evening. Just sent you a load of  text which I hope you will be able to open. We live about 10 miles north by northwest of downtown Salt Lake City, and ended up with about 15 inches of new snow on top of the four or five inches we already had, and which was in the process of melting away. We are so geographicaly diverse, it truly depends upon where you live. We are on the desert floor, but the Wasatch mountains climb straight up from the desert floor. I added Cindy's request for prayer for New Life Christian Fellowship to the prayer list on the Tapestry web site. Hopefully she will see that entry and have confidence that ministries such as FCFM and Tapestry are truly serving the Lord. Time for me to head to bed. Just sent you the Birth Pangs class outline. Let me know if you can not open it. Blessings, Cris
