Dear FCFM Friends,

Well I will begin by offering my wishes that you all had a great Christmas!  This time of year can be very emotionally challenging for many, and I pray that those of you on this list enjoyed the fellowship of family and friends!  I also want to remind each of you that you can always contact me if you have challenges in your life that requires prayer, or even simply a friendly voice!  This list is to build true and meaningful connections, and please know that I am here if I can offer anything to any of you!

Concerning my brother-in-law John Paul...  I want to thank you for all of your prayers, and express my appreciation for your kind thoughts.  John Paul is doing extremely well, all considering.  It is a sort of a miracle, once again demonstrating that our God is a mighty God!  John Paul did in fact experience a massive heart attack.  He will of course require significant medical care for an extended period of time.  He is doing extremely well however, and has been taken completely off all of the life support systems!  In fact he is doing so well that he was sitting up in his hospital bed working on his lap top the other morning!  They are now making sure that all of his vital signs remain stable, and then will schedule him for by-pass surgery.  They are hoping that this will be performed early next week, either Monday or Tuesday.  It is quite amazing that he has done so well, when it was not looking good at all.  Again, we have a mighty God!

I hope that you all are now planning your New Years activities, and I hope that you will find this holiday season to be safe and happy!  Take care, and don't forget to show someone that you love them!

This is wonderful news!  Thank God for His answered prayer.  It's just so awesome to think of how God hears our prayers and takes care of all our problems which seem too big for us, or anyone, to handle.  But, he does it all the time.  It's amazing to think about people who don't believe in God, or that there is a god.  Just look at what He does for us!

I'll continue to pray for John Paul and for his upcoming surgery.

Cindy
