I want to thank you all for your prayers for New Life Christian Fellowship;
the new church formed from the consolidation of the two smaller churches.

Last Sunday was our first official combined service. There was a baptism
and communion, that day, also. It all went very smoothly, and I've heard
nothing but positive comments about it. We even had two people come forward
to accept Jesus as their Savior; which is absolutely wonderful. We had some
visitors, too. I hope they return.

Please continue to pray for us. I believe that prayer is the reason the
first week was so successful and went so smoothly.

To me, it feels a little like going to a new church, though. Even though
the people from Abundant Life Church have been around for quite some time, I
haven't really gotten to know their voices, yet. So, that will take some
time, for me. But, I'm so glad we're all worshiping as one body of Christ.
Learning the voices will come, probably sooner than I expect.

Cindy

Dear Cindy,

I'm so happy to hear that things are going well at your church! It is a
privilege to have the opportunity to include you in our prayers, and of
course it is a honor to have you as part of our group!

Well for Kimberly and I... It would appear that winter has arrived in
Minnesota! It has been hovering a few degrees above zero, and the snow has
come. Santa is going to have to dig out his snow shoes and long johns,
because it is really cold! *smile*

I hope that everyone that is in this group is doing well! I have a bit
of a challenge for you all, and I pray that you will each take my challenge
very seriously! I challenge each one of us to bring at least one person to
this group, between now and New Years! As it grows, of course there will be
more people to interact and unite with each other. So I am asking each of
us to take on this challenge, and help this group to grow!

Respectfully Yours in Christ,
Pastor James Kelm

I live outside Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  The church is in Lancaster and, beginning January, 2011, will be New Life Christian Fellowship.
