First:
I talked with Debbie Burnett, and she mentioned that a portion of her back fence is falling over.
She's very concerned about it. Is there any way you or one of the other guys in Living Single can <BR>come over to check it out? She mentioned taht she may be able to get the wood needed. But I <BR>know there is no way she can get out there to fix it herself. :-)<BR>Second:<BR>I was talking to friends at Arapaho Baptist, They have a nice singles group. Would Living Single like to <BR>get together with them for a eat and mingle? <BR>Don't forget you can invite the singles at Alan and Dian's church.
You guys have a nice meeting room at your church. You have access to the kitchen, lots of parking too. ha ha.
So, you can invite Murphy Baptist, Arapaho Baptist, Firewheel? the church where Greg and I took those Friday
night classes, and my new church Richland Baptist to seprate get togethers.
YOu could host a 2 hour conference and invite all of them to your church.
Teral and Larry have contact to Murphy Baptist.
Just some ideas. Let me know how I can help.
Some theme ideas:
Host a BBQ cook off this summer at FBS, have gym A/C on, invite all church to come compete against you.
Make the grand prize be having the first place winner over to the second place winners church as their guest for dinner and a movie?
FBS has enough shaded sidewalks for BBQ grills to sit under.
you can host a talent show since you have a stage for the gym. Just put it on the invite flyer to the other churches. Just put a sign-up deadline on the flyer and only one person at your church as the contact/sign-up person. Limit it to 10 talents. Keeps it short.
you have a portable sound system too. ITs not hard to run. Adam can train you guys how to run it.
Let me know what Living Single things and how I can help to get thsi stuff going. If you guys host events at least twice a year, all the other churches will come to count on it and invite more friends, It could get to be a big singles mingle.
