Hello All,

At 2:00am this mornig, Cobey started throwing up blood and went to the ER at Baylor Dallas. They currently have her in ICU with a tube down her throat and into her stomach to drain it of all contents so that they can run some tests. Their thoughts right now are that she is getting too much of the blood thinner and that it caused some of her blood vessels to rupture. They won't know for sure until they can run the tests, though.
Once I find out more information, I will let evereyone know. Please keep Cobey and her family in your prayers. Thank you.

"The LORD who created you says: "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior" (Isaiah 43:1-3)

Hello Everybody:

With her stomach finally drained, they were able to do an endo-scopic this afternoon. They determined that the tumor had busted through the stomach, which they had anticipated. That was why they did the by-pass from her stomach to her colon when she had her surgery in March. They were able to cauterize it and stop the bleeding and plan on redoing it again on Monday to insure that it holds.
She is in Baylor Dallas in the Roberts Building. She is in ICU 4W. Only 2 to 3 people areallowed in at a time and you can't stay for long, as there are no chairs in the room. Also cell phones are not allowed and she does not have a room phone. They have limited visiting hours. If you wish to visit, I would call first to see when the visiting hours are as they only allow visitors for a 2 or 3 hour period and then they cut them off for 2 or 3 hours.
Thank you all for your prayers. I will keep you updated as I learn it.
