As I sat by Cobey's bedside this morning, reading Psalms 139, I felt God's presence all around us. She finally has her beautiful smile back and is definately dancing with Jesus. As we all said our final good-byes, I saw a woman who will always be my inspiration. I love you, Cobey.

Love, Diann

Our Church family:

Dave asked that I let everyone know.

Cobey is now in the arms of Jesus.  Her homecoming was this morning about 6:30 am.
Please keep everyone in your prayers and that the family will find comfort for Cobey’s Walk and example of being Christ like to the end.

Start praying for the services that Christ will use this time to bring others into himself.

Thank you for all of your prayers.

Will keep you informed of the services as soon as they are available.

Subject: [FBCS] Update on Cobey Lawrence

 Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,

For those of you that don't know, Cobey took a turn for the worse early Saturday Morning.  We have not been able to communicate with her since then.  The nurse has said that she is semi-comatose and can not respond to us, but that she can hear everything we say.  The nurse also said that her time is very near.  As her Pastor, Bro. Jim Everidge said, "Jesus is putting the final touches on her new mansion, and once that final coat of paint is applied and the last knick-knack in place, He will send His Angels to lead her to His side for her final homecoming."
Please pray for strength and courage to endure during these times of hardship for her mother, Jean, her daughters Hope and Kendra, her best friend and caretaker, Beth and for myself.  We are with her constantly trying to make sure that she is comfortable and resting easily.
I want to personally thank everyone for their prayers over the past year.  May God Bless each and everyone of you.

 In His Service,

Dave Hurt
"The LORD who created you says: "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior"
Isaiah 43:1-3
