It is obvious that our meetings will be increasingly more complicated
as we have a larger group and with school back in full swing....so in
the spirit of Bineeta's suggestion, I think it would be nice if we
could meet in a more convenient location, possibly with wireless
internet...
Thinking that most of you live at or near morrisville and it is
somewhat closer to cary and raleigh...we could meet somewhere there?
How does this sound?
Also, I would like to propose an idea of having regular online sessions
amongst all of us to work on specific tool configurations. The other
night, with the help of Google Talk, Renato talked me through some
intimidating configurations of Eclipse...with ease. I found this to be
a very effective way to work things out. also, there are many online
tools for chatting and voice.
if you all could post the software you have installed on your
respective computers, i think we can find a solution to chat/talk while
we are trying to use some of the programs.
How does that sound?
Does everyone use MS Windows?...98SE? XP? ME? 2000?
Linux? Red Hat? Fedora?...
chat?
msn messenger?
google talk?
aol?
yahoo instant messenger?
gain?
ICQ?
do you have a microphone?
do you have the ability to listen to sound on your computer?
thanks in advance for the feedback!
i think as I start the installation and configuration of the different
tools, i also feel more excited that I am actually learning a
lot!...and can see the reasons behind having so many plugins!
I do
