FARH 2018 Updates

Happy Holidays FARH!

 

I hope you’re as excited as I am about FARH 2018! We hope to provide each delegate with an incredible experience. To do that, we’ll need your help. Programming is an opportunity to share ideas and learn from students all across the state of Florida, and I firmly believe that everyone attending our conference has an idea worth sharing. As Bill Nye once said, “Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don’t.” I need your help to make great presentations happen; please consider submitting a program proposal!

 

In order to put on a great conference, each university must submit at least two program proposals for students and at least one program proposal for the advisor track. But please submit as many quality proposals as you can! The more ideas we have as students, the better the conference we can experience.Program proposals are due on Friday, January 5^th at 11:59 PM!

 

These programs can be about anything to help create stronger student leaders, programming on campuses, or advocacy initiatives. We have five categories: Diversity, Personal Development, Community Service, Recognition and Team Development, and Social Programs. We also have an advisor track, so be sure to reach out to your advisors to submit programs as well! We have a number of resources to assist delegates in writing top-tier programs, including instructional videos and sample outlines, which may be found below:

• We’ll also be hosting a few last-minute program workshopping sessions on January 4^th and 5^th. Keep an eye out on the FARH 2018 Facebook page for more information.

 

Also, don’t forget to register on time for the conference (or remind your NCC to do so). Registration closes on January 8^th, and there is no late registration period. That means that the last opportunity to register a delegation will be January 8^th at 11:59 PM, with no exceptions. The registration form may be found here.
