Hey FARH!
After Hurricane Irma has now officially made landfall in the US this morning, I think it is important to be reminded that together we stand as one state united. As many of you woke up to the beginning impacts of the storm and others waking up to prepare, it is also essential to remember that though Irma may change things, it will not define the state or universities or even organization that we are.
FARH at its purest form is an organization used to connect colleges' and universities' housing organizations together to share ideas, programs, and resources. This time we should remember to connect with each other to help one another in any way that we can.
As someone who is typing this from a ride out shelter on UCF's campus and the SBD is spread between other ride out locations on campuses and forced to evacuate to another state, we want you to know that we are with you and hope that you reach out to us and each other for resources and support.
We ask that you take this time to focus on your campuses and the clean up efforts that will follow. We will be working with the Mini FARH conference team to address any concerns or issues that may arise after these next few days, however they are preparing themselves for Irma at this moment so we ask that any questions be held until their campus re-opens.
Please stay safe, support your campuses, and reach out if you need anything or any resources. If anything, Irma can unite us further as a state.
