F22 color scheme

This year will see more F22 splashes, so it seems time to discuss
color schemes. Luigi (in Reggio Emilia, ITALY) and his friend (a pro)
recently painted the floats; please, have a look in my blog (

Anything but boring white is good . We have gone for yellow topsides ,
white below the waterline and a 50:50 mix of those for the decks .
There is a practical reason for all these . If the boat is to stay in
the water for a while and needs antifouling the line is already
there , the yellow is highly visible so hopefully less chance of
getting crashed into and the decks are cream because our strong
Australian sun makes any dark colour too hot to touch and white too
glarey to look at . Keep up the good work . Cheers , Jim Buckland .
