Dear F123 Access developers and users,
I am Bhavya Shah, an avid user of the F123 Access extension and one of the
organizers of the NVDACon International 2016 Users and Developers
Conference 10th Anniversary Edition.
To brief you all a bit, NVDACon, is an annual gathering of NVDA users and
developers to discuss NVDA's past, present and future, its
progressions over the last year, bug reports and feature requests, and
learn on a multitude of specialized focus topic, culminating with a
keynote from NVDA's two co-founders and developers.
This year, being NVDA's 10th year of existence and provision of
excellent screen reading service to over a hundred thousand visually
impaired people over the globe at no addition cost, NVDACon has become
much bigger and internationalized, with folks presenting from Mozilla,
Liplouis, Dictation Bridge, F123 Access and resident NVDA experts
speaking about add-on development, providing 101s for newbies or users
of other screen readers, etc.
The F123 Access (Accessibility): 20:00 UTC (presenter: Fernando
Botelho) to be held on the 22nd of April, 2016, is the session I am
most specifically referring to.
The complete conference agenda, schedule, timings, participation
instructions and related information can be found on the NVDACon
homepage at www.nvda-kr.org/en/nvdacon.php
I wanted to propose, that in light of F123 Access's representatives
participating in this global and mass celebratory event as a
demonstration session about F123 Access and NVDA with Internet
accessibility support, a special edition tip message should be created
for F123 Access extension users (similar to those including
information about new changes, which can be dismissed by the press of
the Do Not Tell Me Again button).
In my opinion, this will not only make more users aware of F123
Access's wide participation in such large scale conferences, but also
inform more and more users to not miss an opprtunity to communicate
with the people behind F123 Access in real-time, giving feature
requests, bug reports, and asking questions about this product along
the way. NVDA's 10th anniversary too, thus, will have all its web
accessibility believers tuning in for at least the F123 Access
session, and perhaps even the lightning talk by a Mozilla
representative, Marco Zehe, and hopefully other interesting sessions,
forums and chats throughout.
I hope my request may be swiftly considered by Fernando, Mark and
others, the needful may be implemented at the earliest, if mutually
agreed upon, and I also sincerely apologize for proposing this with
only a few days for the unfolding of the conference's opening.
Thanks.
P.S. In case anyone has any questions about sessions, timings,
schedulings, participation or miscellaneous queries about NVDA's 10th
anniversary, this users and developers gathering, this worldwide NVDA
conference, please feel free to mail your queries to me privately, and
I would be more than happy to resolve and clarify them. Looking
forward to meeting many of you fellow F123 Access users in not only
the F123 Access session but also throughout the rest of the
conference.

Hi Bhavya,

We are reluctant to use the help tips as a kind of advertisement. We want to start using them only as really help tips.

When the NVDA Con content becomes available (it is not being broadcast live) we will post a notice on our website F123Access.com, and email all of our users. How about that?

best wishes,
Mark
