Hi Yogesh!
Welcome to the group.
You are not a basic computer user, by any means. If you have gotten this far, you are more accomplished than the average! :)
us
I shall answer your questions but overall the main point is that our system is not perfect in the sense of being able to correctly fix all accessibility errors. But let me explain:
Unlabeled buttons remain. Sometimes, our software cannot deduce the correct label. Facebook though, if it has buttons (and not just photographs) which we cannot label, then we would like to find out more so that we an improve things. Could you, please, give us details of where to find such buttons in Facebook?
Easy Read Newspapers. Our software has to be taught about each newspaper by us. It is not yet smart enough to do it itself. So far we are providing only four examples to our users. We did this to see if anyone is interested in having us try to do more newspapers. So far we have not had many responses from people, and so we feel that not enough people would find it useful. So, we have been putting our efforts into other things. We are talking to organizations in two countries who are interested in getting us to make some newspapers in their country into an Easy Read format, and then into a digital book for blind users who do not use a screen-reader.
Social Link removal. Like with the buttons, sometimes our software might not be able to correctly recognize and remove them. The kind of links we are talking about at the "Share this on Facebook" kind of links. we are not getting rid of the "Follow us on Twitter" type links. Again, if there are some that you think we should be removing but are not, please send us privately the url of the page you find them on, and we will investigate.
Thanks you very much for this feedback.
Kind regards
Mark
