Recap - Toastmasters November 21, 2020 meeting

Good evening Fellow Toastmasters,

During this holiday season of Thanksgiving, our meeting theme “Be Thankful” was so befitting.  Linh informed us that being thankful keeps us happy, peaceful, as well as, healthy.  Many thanks to our speakers for an awesome job displaying the use of vocal variety as they portrayed different characters in their speeches.  JohnRich amused us with both humor and storytelling with his speech titled “Here for the Ride”.  Linda connected with the audience through storytelling as she gave an awesome speech about an act of kindness and the miracle that cost $1.11.  Let us be zealous to follow Linda’s advice to, “Always be kinder than you feel”.  During the table topics session speakers shared stories of gratitude and other things they are most thankful, such as the birth of a child and persons who impacted their lives.  Thank you to our guest India Gordon and congratulations as the winner of the best table topics speaker award!

 I am ecstatic Joethelia and the other officers had re-uped their roles. Many of the other clubs still searching for officers and look at us!? Dynamite teamwork of Rising Stars!

 I'm soooo proud to be part of this club! Wishing you all a have a SCRUMPTIOUS Thanksgiving and thank you again Joethelia for the incredible job as Secretary for the past 6 months!
