I've seen and heard that people have been missing parts for their EB. I myself encountered this too.
I suggest politely trying to reach out to Mark and see what he can do for you. 

Obviously I only recommend doing this is its a substantial part. If its just a crimp or nut or single wire or something small, suck it up, and visit the hardware store. You'll have the much more immediate satisfaction of finishing your bot then waiting on the USPS. 

Just passing my $0.02 along. Mark from EB did a great job of resolving my issue. I can't guarantee you'll have the same experience, but I'd like to think that he'd at least try to assist you too where possible.

are you Serious What have I done to offend him!
Is he offended because People have found parts missing or because they were disappointed when they did.
I don't buy that He must have thicker skin than that after all he sold kits to over 200+ people

and By the way I was never rude to him if you received help I am truly happy for you and useful information would be when did you receive it.
if it is this week then lets hope thing are getting better.

But PLEASE don't make it our fault that we have not received service!

Okay Chris,

That is good news, did he mail you the Plastic Optic holder or did he give you the file to print it?

if the files were up on the board they would help alot of people.

I agree a STL would help a lot of folks. I already cracked mine screwing the bearing in. It was small enough I was able to abs glue it, but still... eventually it's going to break again.

If I knew anything about google sketchup I'd attempt to mock up a replacement.
