It is a 2A fuse. I bought

for replacement, although I haven't tried them yet.

Thanks all, that was it.  A few years back I bought a few hundred assorted fuses on Ebay, so I still had a few boxes of these.

My ExtrusionBot appears to be up and running.  I powered it up for a couple of minutes and turned on the heating element.  In those couple of minutes, the temperature went up to around 60C.  I also tested the spooler motor by passing my finger between the optical sensors, and it appears to be working.  I haven't configured the Alarm settings yet, so I haven't tried powering the main motor on yet.

I made several changes to the layout of the components, both inside the box and outside.  I will post pictures of the final changes to my thread about "repositioning the guts"

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/extrusionbot/4qZp47ddcYU

Several of the changes were to fabricate missing pieces, some were based on Herb's suggestions, and others were based on past experiences creating filament extruders (one horizontal Lyman style extruder, and one based on Lyman's plans, except vertical).

Herb, thanks for your excellent wiring diagram.  I did all of my ExtrusionBot wiring based on your wiring diagram.

Thinking about the Fuse some more....
My unit is a 120V machine the heaters are the same wattage 250w
(I know this because mine cam with the wrong voltage heater )

so I think a better value would be a 1Amp 250V if you have one around.

otherwise 2 amps will do although you will have less protection.
