Hello all,

I am an outdoor Pursuits teacher and I am looking to make the course
into more of a culture in our school and district.

As in many districts, the primary concern in our schools are Literacy,
Numeracy, Sciences and Technology. I would like to use this to bring
Outdoor experiential Ed. to a new level at our school. I plan to take
graduate courses in this area but now is the time to act.

Is there anyone who can point me to research papers or articles that
deal with the effectiveness of writing after an experience in the
outdoors? Has anyone studied the level of student achievement in
literacy in relation to Outdoor Education?

Let me know if you can point me in the right direction or if you think
I should be asking different questions.
