Teen Dating Violence Awareness Week
The Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County has set up a
display at the library of materials aimed at parents and teens to
learn the signs of abuse within teen relationships. Everyone with
teens in their family are invited to take these materials home to read
and discuss. Someone from the Domestic Violence resource center will
be at the library on Tuesday, Feb 26 and Wednesday, Feb 27 from
5:30-6:30 to answer questions and talk about the issues with both
parents and teens. This program also sponsored by the Chariho Rotary
Club.

Books for Breakfast Book Club
Saturday, February 23rd
8:00 am
We will be discussing the book Cane River by Lalita Tademy.
No registration required, but please have the book read before coming.
We will be serving coffee and bagels.

YouTube Contest for Teens
Students in grades 7-12 are invited to create a video 5 minutes or
less that has anything to do about the library.
Prizes are: a $50 iTunes gift card, a $25 iTunes gift card, and a $15
iTunes gift card. Teens can enter with their friends and the prizes
will be split up evenly.

Valentine Craft
Saturday, February 9th

Children are invited to drop in to make a valentine craft for someone
special.

Pretty in Pink Party
Saturday, February 16th
2:00-3:00 pm
Girls of all ages are invited to dress up in their fancy clothes,
listen to sparkly stories, make glittery crafts and have pink
refreshments.

Cam Jansen Book Event
Saturday, February 23rd
2:00-3:00 pm
Come solve mysteries the Cam Jansen way with games & crafts. Based on
the Cam Jansen book series by David Adler.

Donations Wanted
We are looking for donations of new or used (but still in really good
shape) sets of Legos and other building block toys for a few programs
for "boys" that we have in the works.
