Does Excel::Template support cell merging

Hi,

Yes it does. However, there were bugs in implementation, I had to
patch the module to make it work. If you wish, I can share my patch. I
should have posted it to CPAN maintainer, but did not find time,
sorry..

Oops.. I've missed a release of v.0.34 - looks like it has the bug
fixed. Cell merging should now work without patches.

It turns out merging cells is still not working properly :( I have
reported a bug to maintainers. Meanwhile you can use a patch for
Excel::Template v.0.34.

You should apply the following patch to MergeRange.pm (just cut
between lines and save to a file):
