To track In-Out timing of employees (08-14-08)

Hello Frens,

I'm working in IT industry & I want to develop small & handy program
who can track & record IN & Out of 100 employees, so at the end of the
month I can generate report by that for my use.

Can anyone give some inputs then I'll be very Happy. Waiting for
positive reply.

Hello Sudheer,

I don't want to keep software guy for same to take care of IN-OUT
programe. So I want to develop in excel using Macro.
I don't know VB & application of VB much more.

Please do the needful.

If you have the design ogf your data share it please.

my idea is like this...

 

1)A master file for employees

2)A transaction file for in and outwhich contain transactioncode,date,trntype(in/out),time,employeecode&name.

By validating data while input we can get

a uniform type of data.

from that we can generate reports.

from trntype we can also get the present status of the employee...

This is only a vague idea.But can be put into

practice without so many complications I think.
