CX practice on Thursday?

It's official; Cyclocross season is here and it's time to have some fun! Does anybody want to practice Cyclocross on Thursday evenings for the next couple of months?

This Thursday (Sept. 6th) let's plan on meeting at 6pm at Skinner's Butte Park along the river on Cheshire Ave, directly behind Skinner's Butte in the parking lot. We'll work on dismounts, race starts, shouldering the bike, some single-track and grass riding.

The venue, terrain and skills practiced will likely change weekly to accommodate everybody and to mix things up. This is open to everybody, beginners to pros. Emphasis to is have fun, become more skilled, get faster and grow the sport of 'cross.

Please pass on this open invite and feel free to give suggestions for next week's ride.

Sorry for the late notice everybody - but CX practice is on for tonight!

6:15pm - Let's meet at the BMX pump track within Alton Baker Park across the street from the new PK Park baseball stadium.

There are some great loops there with natural barriers, grass, gravel, pavement and single-track to practice on. I will bring some portable barriers too for practicing dismounting and re-mounting.

Hey everybody,

Sorry I have been gone the past couple of Thursdays. Cyclocross training is still happening on Thursday evenings for those interested. The Tensegrity Team is doing intervals tomorrow and we should join them! We meet at 6:00pm behind Skinners Butte. Hope to see you there. Let me know if you need directions.
