ክርስቶስ መስቀል is the most meaningful, colorful and defining symbol of Christian faith and more in Ethiopia than anywhere else.   

The cross is a sign of God's love and forgiveness , even though it shows the most terrible cruelty of man.  And yet the most beloved scripture says "GOD so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." The Gospel according to  John the beloved disciple Chapter 3 verse 16.
